25 Year Legacy

Cover of Madden NFL 25
Instead of numbering this year's Madden, Madden NFL 14, the game was named Madden NFL 25 to celebrate the games 25 years of existence. Since the first release of John  Madden Football in 1989, the game has truly evolved, not only in visual sophistication, but in gameplay and the overall concept. The first game of this series was only available on PC and basically allowed the gamer to move horizontally and vertically on the field to reach the endzone and called that football, today the game is a thousandfold more sophisticated and have numerous new features. Madden NFL 25 was released in late August. The franchise mode of this game has been revamped, so that gamers can own and manage their teams, gamers can also move their teams internationally or revive historic teams. The game has received a mixed reviews and is especially praised for its revamped franchise mode. If your a Madden fan, and even if your just a regular football fan, I'd say that Madden NFL 25 is a great investment. I wonder though, what will they call the 2025 release of Madden?

  1. Is there any major difference from this and the past 25 games that makes this worth buying or should people just wait until Madden NFL 26?

    1. I don't think next year's release will be called Madden NFL 26, they only did that to commemorate the 25 years of Madden football, and there is no real difference in the games, unless they are many years apart, most of the times its just new features year after year but the same basic concepts. So you could buy this year's release or next year's it'll probably mostly the same, but many fans of football and Madden buy each year's release.

  2. Your comments are quite different from most of the others posted online about Madden 25. All the reviews I've read seem to indicate that there's not much different from Madden 13 except the name.LTD

    1. It was more of a comparison between John Madden Football (1989) and Madden NFL 25, and I stated that the game received mixed reviews, but it's praised for its revamped franchise mode. What is LTD, by the way?
